Who we are/ About us
Tanzania Community Empowerment and Protection Initiative (TACEPi) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization operating under the NGO Act of 2002. Founded in 2024, and headquartered in Dar es Salaam, TACEPi is dedicated to the protection and empowerment of vulnerable populations, particularly children and women. We work diligently to combat child abuse, child labour, and child trafficking while also addressing the needs of street children, victims of gender-based violence, people with disabilities and the Elderly.
Mission
Our mission is to empower communities and protect the rights of individuals affected by gender-based violence as well as children affected by all forms of abuse through advocacy, legal support, and educational initiatives.
